How it works
Choose a street. Pray. Watch it turn green.
One shared map, three colours, and a quiet moment in the middle. Here is the whole of it, screen by screen.
01Search, or tap the map
Type a street name or tap it on the map. Every named street in the world is there. Two streets with the same name in two towns are two different streets, with their own colour and their own count.
02The street
Its name, its town, whether anyone has prayed for it yet, and the nearest church. Then one button. Nothing else is asked of you, and nothing about you is shown to anybody.
03The moment
The screen goes still. A verse, if you want one, or nothing at all. Pray for as long as you need. Nothing is timed. When you are ready, Amen.
04It turns green, for everyone
On your screen, and on every other screen in the world that has that street on it. Your own total goes up by one. Your town's coverage moves. One nearby grey street is quietly offered next, and you can ignore it.
05Your record, private
Every street you have prayed for, this week's rhythm, the gold streets you helped make. Private to you. It never appears on the shared map and it is never shown to anyone else.
06The wider picture
Coverage for your town and your country from the start, and for the world as the map fills. One anonymous line: streets prayed for today. No leaderboard, no names.
The rules
What keeps the map honest
A handful of rules decide what every colour and every percentage actually means. They are set once, and they are the same for everybody.
What counts as one street
The whole named road inside its own town. High Street in Brierley Hill is one street. High Street in Stourbridge is a different one. Every colour and every total depends on this.
When green becomes gold
After many people have prayed for the same street. The number is never shown, so nobody prays to hit a target. It is a threshold, not a score.
Praying again
You can pray for the same street as often as you like. It counts once a day towards the colour, so one person cannot turn a town gold in an afternoon.
Does green ever fade
Not for now. A street that has been prayed for stays prayed for. If that ever changes, it will be a decision taken in the open, not a quiet update.
Quiet by design

The heart of the app is the moment. Everything else waits to be asked for.
Night mode
A lot of people pray last thing at night or first thing in the morning. When your phone is set to dark, the map goes dark too. Same three colours, same meaning.
Verses, if you want them
Short verses grouped by theme, shown while you pray if you would like them and off in one tap. A different one for every street.
Walks, if you want them
Some people like to be on the street itself. A walk is an ordered list of real streets you tick off by hand. The app still never knows where you are.
Phone or computer, nothing to install
It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, and can sit on your home screen like any other app. One link, and you are in. Proper apps for the stores come once the loop has proved itself.
