Privacy notice
Your details, and what we do with them
This site does one thing with your information: it lets us tell you when Pray My Street is ready to try. Here is exactly what that involves, in plain words.

Who we are
Pray My Street is a prayer map being built for its founder by BozApps, a UK studio. While the project is being built, BozApps operates this website and is the data controller for anything you give us through it. You can reach us at semir@bozmaps.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the interest form:
- your name and email address
- your church or group, if you give it
- whether you would use it on a phone, a computer or both
- the fact that you ticked the consent box, and the wording you agreed to
We also record the page you were on, the site that referred you (if any), your browser type and the country your connection came from. We do not store your IP address.
Why this is treated as sensitive
Registering interest in a prayer app tells us something about your religious beliefs. Under UK data protection law that is special-category data, so we only hold it with your explicit consent, and we ask for it in plain words rather than burying it. The box you tick says:
“I would like to hear about Pray My Street and be considered for early testing. I understand this tells you I am interested in a prayer app, and I agree to my details being stored for that purpose until I ask for them to be removed.”
Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and for the sensitive part, your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)).
What we use it for
- to email you when there is something to try, and to invite you to early testing if you asked to be considered
- to understand roughly where interest is coming from, so the first testing group is a sensible spread
Nothing else. No newsletter, no marketing, no sharing with anyone, no selling, ever.
Where it is kept
In a database hosted by Supabase in the European Union (Ireland), behind access controls, and reachable only by the people building the project. This website is served by Vercel. Neither company uses your details for anything of their own.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until twelve months after the app is publicly launched, whichever comes first. After that the interest list is deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We use Vercel’s privacy-friendly analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. There are no advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- withdraw your consent and be removed from the list
- ask for a copy of what we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk
Email semir@bozmaps.com for any of these. We will act within a month, usually much sooner.
The app itself
When Pray My Street launches it will have its own privacy notice, written to the same standard. Its founding rules already include: no location data, ever; no names on the shared map; your own prayer record kept private to you; and nothing sold or advertised against. This notice covers the website only.
